TYPE: OOLONG

A hickory smoked oolong made from the iconic Bai Hao. Inspired by a party, a food festival and Rocky IV.  Light to medium bodied, notes of baked rose, gentle spice and smoke, of course.

CONTENTS:

38 grams loose tea (approximately 6 small pot servings), lovingly packed in our tea matchbox.  Includes metal clip to reseal bag once opened.

HOW IT'S MADE:

Bai hao oolong is smoked with hickory chips soaked in vermouth. This smoked tea is allowed to rest and then evaluated. Non-smoked Bai Hao is often blended back in to stretch the smoke presence and until the correct balance is obtained.

PREPARATION:

We recommend steeping this tea in a gaiwan or small pot,using 7 grams, or two tablespoons of dry tea and with water temperature between 190-200 degrees, steeping for 30-45 seconds for each bath and repeating as often as you like.
