TYPE: BLACK / PUERH

FULLY CAFFEINATED 

This tea was inspired by a classic French tea from an old and distinguished maker, but, respectfully, we feel we made it beaucoup better. Starting with a smooth, dark and sweet puerh, we blended in a small amount of red Mao Feng which we lightly scented with bourbon vanilla. Next, we added a delicate amount of Assam for its tannin and astringency, which when combined with the cacao shells gives the tea just the right amount of velvety, chocolate-like texture while staying smooth and easygoing. Bon appetit.

2.1 oz (60) loose tea lovingly packed to order in our signature box.  Includes SS clip to reseal bag once opened and a handy things-to-do list to plot out your next moves. 

INGREDIENTS: (in descending order)

Puerh (cooked), Yunnan, China

Red Mao Feng, Zheijang, China

Assam, India, 2nd flush

 

Cacao Shells (toasted), Peru.

Vanilla Extract, USA


PREPARATION:

Hot:  We recommend using one tablespoon (4 grams), of dry tea leaves per 8-10 oz water just off boil. Pour water directly over tea leaves and allow to steep for 5 minutes.  

Cold:  Steep per hot tea suggestions and allow to cool. Pour over ice.
