TYPE: HERBAL ICED TEA / MOCKTAIL

SEASON: 2023

Inspired by a classic Italian amaro.  Bold citrus, delicate spice and assertive bitters make for a delicious and refreshing drink.  Can be made into a iced tea or concentrated for a mocktail worthy of summer.

ROOIBOS, BITTER ORANGE PEEL, WILD CHERRY BARK, STAR ANISE, CINNAMON, BLOOD ORANGE OIL.

CUPPING NOTES:

BITTERSWEET, CITRUS, SPICE, BELLISSIMO

CONTENTS:

2.1oz / 60g Loose Tea

PREPERATION:

For a mocktail: Steep 1 heaping tablespoon in 3oz water just off boil for 5 min. Add 1 heaping tablespoon sugar, stir and dissolve. Let rest for 3 min. Strain into cocktail glass , add ice and fill with chilled club soda. Garnish with orange peel. 

For iced tea:  Steep 2 tablespoons in 8 oz water just off boil for 5 min. Strain into 1 quart pitcher. Fill with water, pour over ice.
