HAITIAN INSPIRED CHAI TEA

SEASON: 2024

(TAY-LAY) A "chai" style tea inspired by the African and French influences of Haitian Creole. Strong black teas, assertive ginger and spicy red pepper gives way to soft notes of vanilla, citrus and nutmeg.

CUPPING NOTES:

(SWEETENED WITH ORGANIC CANE SUGAR AND MIXED WITH HALF/HALF)

Full, rich and round. Bright and assertive notes of ginger and a spicy heat that warms the belly and lingers along with notes of cream and orange.

INGREDIENTS:

Black teas, (Assam 2nd flush BOP, Chinese Keemun and Kenyan EOR) Ginger Root, Rooibos, Cinnamon, Red Pepper Flakes, Mace Extract, Orange Oil.

PREPARATION:

STEEP 1 TABLESPOON IN 8-10 OZ WATER JUST OFF BOIL FOR 5 MINUTES. STRAIN. ADD SUGAR AND CREAM TO TASTE.
